I recently attended a big celebration with family friends just outside Burlington. On the morning of the 4th I took a walk along a small stretch of Lake Champlain and enjoyed this vista. Having grown up in Vermont, I have great affection for the lakes and the old rolling mountain ranges on either side of Lake Champlain. This photo was taken last week. I look forward to sharing the finished painting very soon!
